The Position This position is housed within StopWaste's Built Environment team, which supports the goal of promoting energy and resource efficiency in the Bay Area construction sector. The services we offer include incentives and technical assistance, circular economy infrastructure and pilot projects, building labeling, community and practitioner engagement, model policies and policy support, advocacy, and research studies. This position is funded through the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) and will support innovative energy efficiency and building electrification in Alameda County and the greater nine-county Bay Area region. The Program Manager I will primarily support BayREN's Green Labeling and Multifamily programs and the Home Energy Score California program. The Green Labeling program works with real estate and design professionals to educate them on how energy efficiency and electrification can be beneficial to their business and their clients. The Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements Program (BAMBE) provides technical assistance and rebates to help multifamily buildings make energy efficient upgrades and decarbonize. Home Energy Score (HES) California is a newly launched statewide expansion of the Bay Area HES program that promotes the availability and literacy of energy information in homes to empower residents to make upgrades. The program utilizes the U.S. Department of Energy's Home Energy Scoring tool. The PM I's responsibilities will include assisting with program management and implementation, such as working with consultants, assisting in pilot projects, coordinating with local government sustainability staff, supporting research, and building relationships with key stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Duties include the following:

<li>Supporting successful program implementation by coordinating with consultants, working with county partners, and managing contracts. </li>
<li>Assisting with in-person events, such as real estate trainings, HES Assessor bootcamps, and renter engagement workshops, and representing BayREN at conferences and other public convenings. </li>
<li>Assisting with development and implementation of pilot programs, expansion of program activities, and other innovative efforts to increase participation and help meet program and local/state climate goals. </li>
<li>Managing data requests and assisting with regulatory filings and reporting of programs metrics. </li>
<li>Conducting outreach for Green Labeling and HES California (in-person and virtual) to a variety of audiences including but not limited to local governments, homeowners, community organizations, potential workforce partners, and real estate and construction industry stakeholders. </li>

Office of Development
The current development operation at the APS currently consists of three staff members: the Director, a Director of the Friends program, and a departmental assistant. The Society anticipates adding staff to the department to meet the institution’s needs and would expect the new Director of Development to make staffing recommendations. The department raises between $3-5 million annually from individual and institutional sources for operational, restricted, and capital purposes. The Annual Fund accounts for approximately $1.4 million per year. As part of a general effort to increase philanthropic giving to the Society, as well as part of the campaign, the Society expects to dramatically increase annual giving, as well as develop a more robust planned giving and major gifts program. The new Director will, therefore, be expected to develop new strategies to increase philanthropic engagement of Members, Friends, organizations and other constituents.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated record of fundraising achievement and staff management.&nbsp; Recent experience in a capital campaign, either at a senior level or as a director, is preferred.&nbsp; The successful candidate should embrace the scholarly spirit that defines the Society and the ideal of a learned society, an organization formed to bring leading thinkers together to share knowledge and one that is largely governed by these members. The Director of Development must be comfortable working closely with preeminent scholars and civic leaders. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and will be a member of the senior management team. Chief Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Plan, implement, and execute a successful national capital campaign.&nbsp; This includes frontline fundraising as well as managing the cultivation and solicitation of donors to be conducted by the President, CEO, APS Members and Friends, volunteers, and staff, and liaising with campaign counsel.</li>
<li>Lead a department of two, and its expansion for the campaign to sustain increased giving over the long-term.

Grow and expand the APS Friends program, an auxiliary group currently composed primarily of former fellows and local Philadelphians whose contributions provide approximately 30% of the annual fund.</li>
<li>Manage and work with development-related advisory bodies, such as the Development Committee, APS Friends Committee, and the Campaign Committee.</li>
<li>Work closely with all APS departments to understand their funding needs and provide support for them, including identifying possible donors or foundation support.</li>
<li>With the support of development and other senior staff, identify, write, and secure grants and pursue other organizational support that provides operational, restricted, and capital support for the Society.</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation of fundraising support materials including e-communications, the Donor Report, fundraising brochures, and maintain development pages on the Society’s website.</li>

The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Vice-President (Academic Affairs), and functionally under the Head of Port Management. As a faculty member at the World Maritime University, the Assistant Professor is expected to provide teaching/mentoring and research and publication and promote inter-university cooperation in areas related to maritime economics and management.

The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Assistant Director for Resource Management Services position to begin as early as September 1, 2023. The librarian in this position oversees the Resource Management Services operations, which comprises Acquisitions &amp; Continuing Resources, Cataloging &amp; Metadata, and Library Management Systems (e.g., OCLC, ILS). Resource Management Services provides operational management of workflow processes for physical and electronic materials to ensure that library materials are easily accessible for faculty and student use when searched for in the library's integrated library system.
The Law Library supports the curricular and teaching requirements of the Law School, the research and publication needs of the law faculty, and the study and research needs of the law students; and provides to the scholarly community at large access to a research collection of material about the law and its history. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Supervises the Resource Management Services Division (comprising the following departments: Acquisitions &amp; Continuing Resources, Cataloging &amp; Metadata, and Library Management Systems), which includes coordinating workflow, training, and evaluation of staff, and oversight of personnel issues within the division</li>
<li>With the other assistant directors and under the supervision of the director, manages ongoing daily activities of the library</li>
<li>Coordinates with the director and other assistant directors in short- and long-range planning for the library, and takes a leading role in creating and implementing library guidelines and procedures</li>
<li>Acts in the stead of the director in his absence, either alone or in cooperation with the other assistant directors</li>
<li>Coordinates with other library departments in connection with Resource Management Services activities affecting those departments</li>
<li>Maintains oversight for the library's integrated system, and works with the library management systems librarian on priorities for technical support issues</li>
<li>Collaborates with librarians with responsibilities related to electronic resources to discuss and resolve problems, review updates, and enhancements affecting the library’s electronic resources</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
