Regularly works near mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and construction-related chemicals. 99% of time is spent working at job sites. Substantial driving is required. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. WeGo seeks a Class A Repairman to help service our vehicles. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required for this position. Responsibilities accurately and efficiently servicing all vehicles, including fueling, checking oil, coolant, and other fluids (and adding as necessary), servicing on-board lavatories, “thumping” tires, washing the exterior (including backs and wheels), removing and replace minor electrical components (i.e.: light bulbs) when assigned. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
 
Pallet repairman is primarily responsible for repairing pallets to a specified spec. This is a full time position where experience is highly recommended. Must be bilingual to communicate with personnel. Applicants will be operating power tools, nail guns, and saws. Pallets are repaired, graded, and then stacked. Safety and quality are the main components to this position.
 
Pallet repairmen are recommended to wear steel toe work boots, and expected to wear all proper safety equipment at all times. Must be able to read and understand a tape measure, read spec sheets/tools and follow instructions on how to build/repair pallets to specifications.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Comply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), manual and power tools.</li>
<li>Inspects pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.</li>
<li>Removes damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.</li>
<li>Use a reciprocating saw and grinder to cut or remove old and bent nails.</li>
<li>Attach appropriate boards according to company specs using a pneumatic nail gun and hammer.</li>
<li>Perform simple math skills by adding or subtracting the number of pallets repaired.</li>
<li>Restocks building supplies at the end of shift.</li>
<li>Cleans pallet repair area during and at end of shift.</li>
<li>May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.</li>

Perform all maintenance activities and tasks including shop and field preventive and predictive maintenance on mobile and stationary mining equipment, light vehicles, support and auxiliary equipment.
