  • Full-Time, Non-Exempt position.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Do you have a passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences? InterContinental The Clement Monterey is seeking an outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-driven Concierge to join our award-winning team.

As a Concierge, you will serve as a key ambassador of our luxury hotel experience by providing personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional guest care from arrival through departure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering world-class hospitality.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide personalized guest services and recommendations for local dining, attractions, transportation, and entertainment.
  • Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and transportation arrangements.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel amenities, local events, and Monterey area attractions.
  • Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special amenities.
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, radio communication, and in person.
  • Uphold InterContinental brand standards and deliver exceptional service at every guest interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems preferred.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions, dining, and cultural experiences is highly desirable.

The Concierge is the first point of contact for hotel guests and is primarily responsible for providing personalized service to guests upon arrival, during their stay and upon departure. The Concierge is an integral part of our team at the property and works side by side with associates and managers on a day-to-day basis to anticipate and meet guest’s needs.
