Job Description

We are searching for a Bank Teller to provide onsite support for a financial institution. This position is contract-to-hire and pays $19 to $21 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve routine customer issues within authority.
  • Process retail and commercial deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing accurately.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy of cash handled.
  • Operate banking systems to process transactions and research account inquiries.
  • Verify transaction documentation and ensure compliance with policies and limits.
  • Issue official checks and process night depository transactions.
  • Cross-sell financial products and refer customers to appropriate staff.
  • Assist with safe deposit box access and vault operations as assigned.
  • Prepare reports and handle records, files, and routine branch documentation.
  • Perform other assigned branch and operational duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior cash handling or customer service experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations and products.
  • Basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
  • Strong math and numerical accuracy skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time, stay organized, and multitask.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
