Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Location: Montvale, NJ 07645

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Duration: 8 Weeks with a strong possibility of extension

Pay Range: $20–$25/hour (Based on experience)


Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out

• Register patients and accurately update demographic and insurance information in the EMR

• Answer and route incoming phone calls while taking accurate messages

• Verify insurance information and support front-office billing and administrative functions

• Scan, upload, and maintain patient documentation within the Athena EMR system

• Perform additional administrative and front desk duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or Supervisor


Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (associate's degree preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or outpatient clinic performing front desk, patient registration, scheduling, or administrative duties

• Athena EMR experience is required

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
