Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you will provide support to our office employees, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, confirming patient appointments, and maintaining a comfortable inviting environment . The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills, has the ability to multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person if necessary
  • Schedule appointments and maintain multiple calendars
  • Building rapport with patients
  • Manage/Write emails from staff email account, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately
  • Contribute to company reporting
  • Maintain an organized filing system
  • Update, and maintain relevant office procedures as needed
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and inviting environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
