Job Summary:
- Duration: 3-month contract
- Perform records center operations, including order processing and material handling
- Move, organize, and store boxes, files, books, binders, and backup tapes
- Operate warehouse equipment and scanning systems
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing customer orders
- Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes
- Read labels and accurately locate inventory
- Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and storage locations
- Operate handheld scanners for inventory management
- Load and unload boxes, pallets, and trucks
- Shrink-wrap pallets for shipment
- Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment
- Climb ladders to retrieve or store materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures while handling materials
Physical Requirements:
- Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods
- Lift and carry boxes weighing 10–100 lbs. without assistance
- Push, pull, grip, and move heavy boxes over varying surfaces
- Work on concrete floors, inclines, and stairs
- Climb and balance on ladders
- Perform repetitive lifting and carrying throughout the shift
Required Skills:
- Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse work
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. regularly without assistance
- Experience using handheld scanners
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to read and write English
- Experience operating pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to accurately process inventory and orders
