FLSA Status: FT hourly non-exempt

Location: Marquis Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA), New York State

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing professional and courteous front-desk support for Marquis Certified Home Care. This includes greeting patients, families, and visitors, managing incoming calls, scheduling, maintaining accurate records, and supporting clinical and administrative operations to ensure efficient office workflow. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact and represents the agency with a high level of customer service and confidentiality.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and assist clients, caregivers, and visitors with professionalism and warmth

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a timely manner

  • Manage scheduling, client files, and data entry

  • Support the coordination of caregiver assignments

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all records

  • Provide administrative support to the office team as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or homecare setting (required)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Occasional flexibility may be required based on office or patient care needs.
