The assignment is scheduled from August 34, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a standard work week of 37.5 hours. You’ll be working fully onsite, supporting Setting 3 Autism programs at both primary and secondary levels, with potential for assignments to shift as district needs evolve.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Minnesota teaching license
- Previous experience teaching Special Education (Autism programs, primary or secondary level, preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a multi-disciplinary team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a large school district setting
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete student records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support in Setting 3 Autism classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs
- Employ evidence-based strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to student goal setting, and monitor progress
