Key responsibilities include:
- Organize & scan work papers using office technology
- Prepare client and Abdo deliverables such as tax returns
- Attend departmental meetings
- Perform data entry and verification using internet-based software programs
- Compare data sets to ensure consistency
- Daily scanning of mail and payments
- Directly communication with clients
- Print and mail documents
- Generate letters, memos, emails, as requested
- Ensure accuracy of products being delivered
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies
- Prioritize workflow and deadlines, while practicing good time and project management skills
- Assist the administration team in day-to-day activities
- Provide general administrative support to partners and professional staff
- Serve as daily Front Desk Reception backup and in-office support
- Interact professionally with internal and external clients and prospects, handle inquiries effectively and in an organized and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized office environment
- Actively utilize firm-approved technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work while exercising appropriate professional judgment and maintaining compliance with firm policies, confidentiality standards, and professional regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of administrative experience; previous experience in a professional services/CPA firm highly desirable
- High computer literacy
- Excellent organization and communication (verbal and written) skills

In-office work arrangement:
This is an in-office position based in our Edina office, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Additional Information:
At Abdo, we are committed to providing fair, transparent, and competitive compensation that reflects the unique skills and experiences of each candidate. The estimated base pay range for this role is $21.50 - $27.50 per hour. Offers are typically made below the maximum to allow room for future compensation increases in the role. The compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications, skills, and business needs.
All employees have the opportunity to earn discretionary bonuses based on demonstration of extraordinary performance, special projects or significant importance, or other major accomplishments.
