Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist for our front desk to be the welcoming face of our office. In this vital role, you will manage the daily front desk operations, handle multi-line phone-systems and provide exceptional care to our patients and visitors. Your organizational and communication skills will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a positive first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while supporting a professional and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet our patients and visitors warmly, check them in/out, and provide information about our services, supplements and packages.
  • Schedule/reschedule appointments; maintain the appointment calendar.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries about our services and collect health insurance information for new and returning patients.
  • Maintain patient records, update files, process intake forms, and ensure confidentiality.
  • Collect and post copays/deductibles.
  • Handle correspondence, voicemails, emails, data entry, scanning and attach documents to the patient profile.
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.
  • Work closely with chiropractors and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office is a plus and sales experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer literacy and typing skills for efficient data entry and document management.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices.
  • Knowledge of office management procedures, clerical tasks, filing systems, and proofing documents.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

The hours required for this position are Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays - 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. & Tuesdays - 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
