<p>We at Shearer’s have plans to immediately expand production and continue to grow the team in the Perry facility as well as continue to service our key customers.&nbsp; We have the following shift available for immediate hire:</p>
<h2>CDL Driver</h2>
<h2>Nights - 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM&nbsp; 2,2,3 schedule. $20 per hour&nbsp;</h2>
<p>&nbsp;<strong>Your seat at the best snacks table:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Safely drive trucks between Perry location Warehouse and food manufacturing plant to meet scheduled customer delivery times</li>
<li>Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, forklift or by hand and place in designated storage areas</li>
<li>Utilize jockey trucks to move trailers between storage locations and manufacturing facility</li>
<li>Verify accuracy of truck loads and obtain proper signatures</li>
<li>Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience</li>
<li>Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required</li>
<li>Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>What you bring to the party:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>
<li>Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications</li>
<li>Experience driving and operating forklifts and hand lifts</li>
<li>Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required</li>
<li>Proven safe driving record</li>
<li>Ability to operate manual transmission preferred</li>
</ul>
