Job DescriptionMedical Quality Assurance Specialist (Part-Time/Flexible)United Talent Staffing is hiring a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist for a healthcare client. This position may be based in Charleston, WV; White Hall, WV; Huntington, WV; Prestonsburg, KY; or remotely for qualified candidates.
Pay & BenefitsPay: $20.00–$25.00 per hourSchedule
- Part-Time (20–30 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday preferred
- Flexible daytime schedule
- Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Review and audit medical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform quality assurance reviews and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain confidential information.
- Prepare reports and communicate findings.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and regulations.
- Use Microsoft Office and other technology to maintain records.
- Support quality improvement initiatives.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in medical quality assurance, medical records, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Comfortable learning new technology and healthcare software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
