Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide essential pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in an inpatient behavioral health setting, supporting seamless medication management and patient care. This contract assignment requires coverage in St Charles, MO, from August 6th through August 14th (excluding August 8th and 9th), working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage repackaging processes utilizing Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems
- Operate and maintain automated medication dispensing machines, including loading drugs and running restock reports
- Monitor medication inventories and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri Pharmacist License
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
- Familiarity with repackaging techniques using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems is highly desirable
- Basic proficiency in managing automated medication machines and restock report generation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during assigned shifts
