Contract Recruiter
We are hiring a Recruiter to support high-volume hourly manufacturing recruiting for a large food and beverage production facility in West Jordan, UT. This role will partner closely with HR and plant hiring leaders to keep hiring moving quickly while maintaining a strong candidate experience and compliant process.
The best fit is a hands-on recruiter, staffing coordinator, HR coordinator, or talent acquisition professional who is comfortable screening hourly candidates, coordinating interviews, managing applicant flow, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced plant environment.
Location: West Jordan, UT
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility needed to meet candidate availability
Work Setting: Onsite
Role Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 90 days, with potential to extend depending on hiring volume
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Support recruiting for hourly and non-exempt manufacturing positions.
- Source candidates through referrals, networking, recruiting databases, social media, and direct outreach.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and assess candidate fit for plant-based hourly roles.
- Coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, HR, and plant leaders.
- Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Extend offers and support pre-employment and onboarding steps.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.
- Support internal job posting and bidding processes according to company policy.
- Follow established hiring processes and support compliance with employment laws and company standards.
- Provide recruiting updates, pipeline status, and hiring metrics to stakeholders.
- Support a fast-paced plant environment with changing priorities and hiring deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of recruiting, staffing, HR, talent acquisition, or related hiring support experience.
- Comfortable recruiting for hourly, non-exempt, production, warehouse, operations, or manufacturing roles.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage candidate records, hiring activity, and changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills by phone, video, email, and in person.
- Detail-oriented approach to job postings, candidate information, scheduling, and compliance steps.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established hiring processes.
- Comfortable using web-based systems, applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media.
- Able to work onsite in West Jordan, UT.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, food production, warehouse, logistics, or high-volume hourly recruiting experience.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system.
- Experience supporting internal postings, bidding processes, or union/collective bargaining hiring environments.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced plant, staffing agency, or high-volume hiring environment.
