Job Title: Preschool Assistant Teacher
Location: Country Kids Childcare
Job Type: [Full-time / Part-time]
Hours: Between 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (shift will fall within these hours)

Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and caring Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young children.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with lesson plans and daily activities
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Support children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth
- Assist with transitions and daily routines
- Communicate positively with staff, children, and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (CDA or early childhood coursework preferred)
- Experience working with young children is a plus
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and meet Virginia licensing requirements
