Position Summary
Mesabi Metallics is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer who will support the engineering team in the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects with a focus on environmental sustainability and tailings basin management. This role involves assisting with technical analysis, project planning, and compliance with environmental regulations to ensure safe and effective operations.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager – Civil Engineering, the Junior Civil Engineer will be responsible for the following:

<li>Supports the Environmental Manager in acting as the primary liaison for the organization on environmental compliance matters with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.</li>
<li>Assist with preliminary site assessments to evaluate environmental conditions and impacts.</li>
<li>Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to civil engineering projects.</li>
<li>Assist with preparation of environmental impact reports and documentation required for regulatory submissions and project approvals.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of sustainable engineering solutions and practices to minimize environmental impact.</li>
<li>Assist with preparation of technical reports and documentation related to tailings basin management and performance.</li>
<li>Support the monitoring of tailings basin performance and stability, including regular inspections and data collection.</li>
</ul>
Skills and Qualifications
<ul>
<li>At least 3 years’ civil engineering experience, preferably with mining/manufacturing company.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and tailings management practices.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.</li>
</ul>
Education
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>This position is a mixture of field work and office duties. Field work will be conducted daily throughout the year so exposure to the elements (rain, snow, cold, heat, etc) is to be expected. The office duties will require work in front of a laptop, desk, and phone.</li>

Salary Range:

<li>$75,000&nbsp;- $121,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.</li>

Job Summary: The Nursing Station Tech (NST) serves the hospital patient population by providing constant overview of patient care area and monitoring of activity throughout the unit. Customer service, patient family support, and safety are primary responsibilities of this position. This position also includes clerical functions and specific patient care duties to facilitate efficient and comprehensive services. The House Supervisor/Nurse Director may re-assign to other units based on changes of volumes and acuity.

About the Position
<ul>
<li>Cook</li>
<li>Casual (as-needed basis)</li>
<li>Shift: 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.</li>
<li>8-hour shifts, Days, Evenings, Every other Weekend</li>

Here's what you'll do when you join us:
The cook is responsible for preparing and assisting with the set-up of all food at Grand Itasca including meals for tray line and cafeteria, catering, and meals-on-wheels while ensuring adequate par levels of all food items. 
<ul>
<li>Ensures there is enough food for the day and prepares food for the next day. </li>
<li>Prepare all hot food items and cook room service request orders.</li>
<li>Prepare food to meet quality and department standards.</li>
<li>Serve cafeteria customers and take payments using the cash register.</li>
<li>Maintain a "clean-as-you-go" attitude and maintain a clean work area.</li>
<li>Use fantastic customer service skills with both patients and staff.</li>
<li>Maintain stock.</li>
<li>Perform other duties assigned my leadership.</li>
</ul>
 
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

<li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li>
<li>Secondary training in food preparation and food service or previous experience as cook, salad assistant, caterer, or baker, in a a' la carte setting.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.</li>
<li>Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.</li>
</ul>
