POSITION OVERVIEW The Instructional Support Staff role is responsible for supporting and/or leading classrooms to deliver safe and effective learning environments for students through teaching, facilitation, and coordination. This role will provide you with valuable professional development and personal growth opportunities as you will have the chance to work with different grade bands (TK-8). This role reports to the Associate Site Director and is for those who are available to work 4 days every week during the school year in at our Costaño Elementary School sites. Drawing upon best practices in youth development, you will guide students to build academic and life skills in a meaningful, fun context. 
ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Manage (either as a co-lead or primary lead) a classroom of approximately 10-20 students per 1 staff</li>
<li>Provide academic mentoring and homework assistance </li>
<li>Lead students through academic activities</li>
<li>Adapt lesson plans for delivering enrichment classes and clubs (art, cooking, STEM, fitness, etc.) </li>
<li>Conduct life skills and team-building activities </li>
<li>Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and BGCP leadership </li>
<li>Engage in weekly check-ins and participate in staff meetings</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Rate: Minimum $18.65 per hr - Maximum $23.00 per hr Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from local delivery and inter-franchise drivers, new container inventory, repositioning and customer access; load trucks for first route &amp; stage IF and access</li>

<li>Insure that all full containers staged outside during the day are returned to the warehouse each night</li>

<li>Fuel forklift, complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain those records onsite; notify manager of needed repairs</li>
<li>Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out, for assigned facility</li>
<li>Print and time-stamp all waybills; may scan and upload contracts, addendums and other documents</li>
<li>When required, repair damaged containers</li>
<li>Maintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routes</li>
