Duties
<ol>
<li>Perform all daily Branch Manager duties outlined within the Pink Zebra Moving Operations Manual.</li>
<li>Interview prospective team members weekly and maintain a roster of “on call” movers at all times.</li>
<li>Onboard, train, and provide ongoing support to new and existing team members.</li>
<li>Perform site visits and truck inspections daily.</li>
<li>Cultivate, nurture, and promote a culture that is focused on providing every customer and prospective customer with a one-of-a-kind moving experience.</li>
<li>Develop and execute unique, and often individualized, customer experience campaigns.</li>
<li>Build and improve relationships with team members, customers, key suppliers, and the community.</li>
<li>Review company practices to ensure clients maximum satisfaction from each moving experience.</li>
<li>Educate and inform clients about the company’s mission, products, and services.</li>
<li>Identify potential opportunities and inform the sales team to follow up.</li>
<li>Attend to client complaints and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.</li>
<li>Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend ways of improving client satisfaction.</li>
<li>Seek out and attend events that will aid in driving brand awareness.</li>
<li>Oversee customer relationship management systems.</li>
<li>Perform daily lead farming activities.</li>
</ol>
Experience &amp; Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will bring a proven track record of operational leadership, team development, and local market knowledge. Candidates should possess the following:
Required Experience:
<ol>
<li>3+ years of experience in operations management, logistics, franchise, or moving services preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated success in leading teams of 5+ employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.</li>
<li>Strong background in sales pipeline management, CRM systems, and meeting revenue targets.</li>
<li>Proven ability to grow a service-based business through local marketing, networking, and customer relationship building.</li>
<li>Experience managing fleet operations, vehicle compliance, or logistics scheduling a plus.</li>
</ol>
Preferred Local Knowledge:
<ol>
<li>Familiarity with Kansas City neighborhoods (e.g., Brookside, Plaza, Waldo, North KC, Johnson County) and surrounding suburbs.</li>
<li>Ability to recruit, engage, and retain talent.</li>
<li>Awareness of seasonal moving patterns (e.g., apartment turnovers, college schedules, event logistics).</li>
