Basic Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Greet customers promptly</li>
<li>Obtain customer and vehicle information</li>
<li>Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer</li>

<li>Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts</li>
<li>Establish follow up time</li>

Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for testing, inspecting, and verifying the performance of Phiston machines before they reach our customers. This role combines hands-on mechanical testing with quality documentation, making it a hybrid technical/QC position.
 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional testing on machines during and after assembly.</li>
<li>Inspect and verify parts, components, and final units using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, multimeters, etc.).</li>
<li>Troubleshoot mechanical issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams.</li>
<li>Document test results, inspection findings, and non-conformance reports.</li>
<li>Assist in updating QC procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols.</li>
<li>Ensure all products meet Phiston’s quality standards and engineering specifications.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electromechanical, or technical QC roles.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working directly with machines or equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.</li>
<li>Comfortable using hand tools, test equipment, and measurement devices.</li>
<li>Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or hardware testing.</li>
<li>Knowledge of quality systems or ISO standards.</li>
<li>Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
