Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a middle school student in New Rochelle, NY. This role focuses on supporting the student’s academic, social, and behavioral needs in a structured and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and transitions
- Support the student’s social and emotional development
- Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Maintain a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students or individuals with special needs preferred
- Paraprofessional or related experience is a plus
- Patient, dependable, and supportive demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow direction and implement support plans

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.00 to $31.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
