Job Overview
Seeking hospitality-oriented candidates to join the teams of our attraction clients in NYC!
As a Guest Experience Associate, you’ll provide front line guest engagement starting at entry, throughout the attractions, in retail spaces and departure. Together with the team, you’ll help create iconic NYC experiences that guests remember for years to come!
Duties
- Greet, direct, and engage with all guests entering and throughout the venue, providing outstanding customer service
- Staff ticketing and attraction entrances, ensuring guests have a great first impression
- Maintain superior knowledge of the attraction and all its products and experiences
- Empathize and follow up with guests regarding any concerns or questions that they may raise during their visit
- Maintain clean, organized, and well stocked Experience and Retail spaces
- Assist customers in the retail space, including POS transactions
- Assist with supporting groups, birthday parties and special events
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months prior experience in a customer-facing role in a retail, museum, hospitality, or attraction setting
- Stellar customer service skills
- Polished, professional, and friendly presentation
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Verbal skills in a language other than English are a plus.
- Reasonable, reliable commute to Midtown Manhattan
- Physical Requirements: Extended periods of standing. May work indoors or outdoors, with Street Team position primarily outdoors. May be positioned on a high floor observation deck, or in a glass-walled elevator.
Schedule
Hired candidates can expect to work a variable schedule of 20-30 hours per week, with additional opportunities to pick up shifts. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a must.
