Operator's Job Description and Function Form
Job Title: Maintenance Operator
Position Overview:
Maintain extrusion equipment that is used in the production of custom made polyethylene film, and various bag making machines that are used in the production of custom made polyethylene bags. Also, any and all other equipment that is in, on, or part of the building.
Essential Job Functions :
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Make necessary repairs to equipment.
• Document all work that is done.
• Follow all procedures in place, and your supervisor.
• Use: lock out / tag out procedure, whenever working on a piece of equipment.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Citizenship or proof of residency.
• Have at least 2 years experience.
• Wear clean and appropriate clothing and shoes.
• Wash hands well.
• Come to work on time, ready to start at designated time.
