About the Role:
The Purchasing Assistant at MIDAS CHAIN INC plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement team within the wholesale trade industry. You’ll play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in helping our Dr’s to diagnose and treat eye disorders.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

<li>You’ll test and record patient's far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception</li>
<li>You’ll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing</li>
<li>You’ll triage emergency cases appropriately into physicians’ schedule and maintain patient flow</li>
<li>You’ll prepare patient and procedure room and assist ophthalmologist with procedures as needed</li>
<li>You’ll perform first level maintenance on ophthalmic equipment and notify the office manager of any equipment malfunctions</li>
<li>You will be expected to utilize, as appropriate, infection control techniques and universal precautions, and to maintain confidentiality at all times</li>
<li>Prepare the patient chart/EMR and room for exam based on the physician requirements and preferences </li>
<li>Accurately and thoroughly document the patient-provider interactions as they are being performed by the clinician in the patient’s chart/EMR </li>
<li>Track testing and medication orders by the physician</li>
<li>Provide the highest level of service and care to our patients </li>
<li>Educate the patient regarding testing, procedures, prescription instructions, etc</li>
<li>Serve as a work-up technician and performs accurate ophthalmic procedures and testing (auto-refraction; visual acuity; measure and record glasses; tonometry; pupils; dilate; HRT; VF; pachymeter; corneal topography; OCT; B-scan; keratometry; confrontation fields; administering eye drops or ointments)</li>
<li>Audit patient charts to ensure accurate information has been entered</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by management</li>

The Beansprouts Program is a multi-age, child-centered, open classroom providing care for children of GCDS faculty and staff. In addition to nurturing care, the Beansprouts program offers developmental opportunities for exploration.
The Beansprouts Caregiver(s) will provide supervision to children aged 3 - Grade 2 during lunch, play, and nap time. The anticipated weekly schedule is Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 4:15 pm. The hourly rate is $21-26 per hour. This position is not benefits-eligible.
Successful candidates will have meaningful prior experience working with children of this age group and be exceedingly reliable.
