Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to schools along Minnesota’s beautiful north shore. This contract opportunity offers a blend of in-person and potential virtual work, allowing for flexibility and a rewarding professional experience. You’ll play a key role in conducting both initial evaluations and re-evaluations throughout the FY27 school year, supporting a wide range of learners. With assignments varying from 100 up to 500 hours per district per year, this role offers the adaptability so many professionals value.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or certification (or eligibility for licensure) as a School Psychologist in Minnesota
- Previous experience in K–12 school settings preferred
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and writing clear, detailed reports
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with both in-person and virtual service delivery (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social, and emotional assessments
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Communicate assessment results with families, staff, and students in a supportive and clear manner
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom management, intervention, and academic or social supports
- Participate in eligibility and other relevant team meetings
