Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a paraprofessional within a vibrant and inclusive school environment near Osseo, MN. This position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, for 32.5 hours each week.

Several special education paraeducator vacancies exist within resource programming, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) centerbase programming, and Ready Set LAUNCH centerbase programming. If you prefer working in resource, DCD, or LAUNCH, please indicate your preference.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be highly qualified by meeting at least ONE of the following:
    • Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
    • Completion of at least 60 college credits with official college transcripts (photos of diplomas or degrees will not be accepted)
  • Ability and willingness to assist students with toileting as needed
  • Resume and one highly qualified document must be provided for candidacy consideration
  • Eagerness to work collaboratively with educators and support the needs of students in various special education settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on support to students in resource, DCD, or LAUNCH programs as needed
  • Foster a positive, engaging classroom environment for diverse learners
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to implement individualized educational plans
  • Support students’ daily needs, including physical assistance and toileting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to daily schedules

This position is contract-to-direct hire, with the potential for direct employment following the initial contracting period of 422 hours. Compensation for this role is set at $20 per hour, subject to verification of highly qualified status.
