 About Win - Women in Need Win is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providingtransitional and supportive shelters for women-led families. Manyof our families have escaped domestic violence and strive to keeptheir families together and safe. Win’s Income Building Programsupports our clients by facilitating their transition fromunemployment to employment and helping those already employed toimprove their circumstances. This includes increasing wages, movingfrom part-time to full-time work, securing health benefits, andtransitioning from off-the-books to on-the-books positions.Additionally, Win offers financial literacy workshops to equip ourclients with essential skills such as budgeting, bill paying, andbasic fiscal management. Win’s current operating budget isapproximately $150 million, with $14 million raised privatelythrough private and corporate funding, supporting programs andservices including the Income Building Program and Camp Win.
Purpose of the Opportunity The Manager of Individual Gifts is responsible for identifying,cultivating, qualifying, and soliciting mid-level ($1,000-$4,999)donors to raise significant revenue for Win. Reporting to theSenior Director, Major Gifts, the Individual Giving officer managesaspects of the individual donor programs (events, communicationscontent, solicitation) to raise funds and donor commitments insupport of Win programs. Key Accountabilities
Donor Relations and Cultivation • Manage portfolio of donors supporting from $1,000-$4,999,including annual giving, from communications and engagement tosolicitation and stewardship. • Coordinate donor experiences involving Development and Programteams, including strategy development and preparation of briefingdocuments, formal proposals, and logistical support. • Oversee the acknowledgement and recognition processes formid-level donors, ensuring immediate, tailored, and accuratecorrespondence to donors, and on-going appreciation asappropriate.
Research and Metrics • Regularly provide reporting on mid-level financial progress as itrelates to overall goal. • Work closely with the Director of Development Operations todevelop systems and methodology to identify/qualify new Windonors. • Analyze donor data and fundraising metrics to assess performance,identify trends and share key learnings to inform strategicdecision-making.
 Data-Driven Approach • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date donor recordsin Salesforce, Win’s CRM database, with a focus on data hygiene.Work with the Development staff to ensure fulfillment andimplementation. • Track and report activities and progress towards goals throughthe fiscal year. Events and Collaboration • Participate in planning and staffing specific fundraisingevents. • Other duties as assigned, including ongoing support of appeals,campaigns, donor communications, and marketing.

POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>
<li>Lead the positioning of SEO for further national expansion byestablishing and deepening relationships with all relevant internaland external partners/ constituents.</li>
<li>Monitor prospect portfolios for the CEO, staff, board, andexpansion offices. Serve as an advisor and collaborator to theexpansion offices.</li>
<li>Craft compelling cases for support of unrestricted funds thatmaximize relationships with current donors and cultivate andconvert new donors.</li>

<li>Ensure comprehensive, timely, and innovative stewardship of allgifts.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Development Team, ensure the continuedsuccess of the annual SEO awards dinner, securing sponsors andhonorees for the organization’s biggest fundraising night of theyear.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS&nbsp;
The benchmarked base salary range for this position is$250,000 - $300,000.
 This executive position also qualifies for SEO’s annual ManagementIncentive Plan (MIP) bonus based on individual and organizationalperformance. Opportunity
Reporting to IRAP’s Executive Vice President, External Relationsand Chief of Staff, the Vice President (VP), Development will be anintegral member of the IRAP team, and involved in theorganization’s overall strategic development. They will oversee andmanage the organization’s fundraising strategy, development, andexecution, and will build key infrastructure and contacts tostrengthen and sustain its activities. In partnership with theExecutive Vice President, External Relations and Chief of Staff,the Development team, and other key stakeholders, the VP will be astrategic leader and frontline fundraiser, forging newrelationships to increase IRAP’s visibility, achieve ambitiousimpact, and secure long-term financial resources. They will lead,in partnership, the design and implementation of a comprehensive,clearly-articulated multi-year plan to maintain organizationalhealth in the years to come. The VP will hold a portfolio ofprincipal and major individual and institutional donors, and willbe responsible for personal fundraising performance alongside therest of the development team.&nbsp;
The VP, Development will have primary responsibility forestablishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow a$30M annual budget through the solicitation of grassroots tomajor/principal gifts, special events and virtual opportunities,and corporate and foundation support. They will expand anddiversify IRAP’s donor base/pipeline and work closely with otherteam members to secure funding for new initiatives. In addition,the VP will work closely with the Board of Directors on theirrespective individual fundraising / relationship-building plans,and encourage everyone, through many different avenues, to becomemore involved in helping the organization reach their fundraisinggoals.
The VP, Development will directly supervise the highly strategicDevelopment Leadership Team, comprising the Director of IndividualPhilanthropy, Director of Institutional Philanthropy, and theDevelopment Operations team lead, in addition to overseeing andleading the nine Development team professionals. They will also bea member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for helping todevelop a strategic execution plan to achieve organizationalresults.
Responsibilities

IRAP strives for equity and transparency in its compensationpractices. Compensation is based on experience, education, andinternal equity. The salary for this role is in a range based onmarket data and will be between $158,772 - $180,071.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 The responsibilities of the Director ofAdvancement include, but are not limited to, the following:

<li>Strategy &amp; Leadership
<ul>
<li>Serving as a member of the leadership team, contribute to thegrowth of Symphony Space in accordance with its mission, vision,and values</li>
<li>Overseeing the organization’s $45 million campaign for theinstitution’s building, endowment, reserves, and programinnovation</li>
<li>Crafting a strategic annual fundraising plan with diverserevenue streams from individuals, foundations, corporations, andplanned giving&nbsp;</li>
<li>Building a robust pipeline of board prospects in collaborationwith the Executive Director, Board Chair, and Nominating &amp;Governance Committee Chair</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Fundraising
<ul>
<li>Securing major gifts for both campaign support and annualgiving</li>
<li>Steering a robust pipeline of donors at all points of the donorexperience cycle</li>
<li>Articulating and meeting monthly and annual goals for dollarsraised, donor contacts, and visits</li>
<li>Supervising the institutional giving strategy with a focus ongrant proposals and&nbsp;reports that are timely, accurate andcompelling</li>
<li>Overseeing the fundraising event strategy that cultivates andengages donors and supporters</li>
<li>Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director andSenior Director of Strategy &amp; Engagement to craft inspiringfundraising campaigns, collateral, proposals, appeals, andstewardship events and materials</li>
<li>Providing exceptional donor engagement to Symphony Spacepatrons at events, performances, and programming&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<li>Team Building
<ul>
<li>Guiding the development team in elevating cultivation,solicitation, and stewardship practices across all fundraisingactivities</li>
<li>Steering the development department budget and assessingongoing progress towards departmental and organizational objectivesto achieve successful outcomes</li>
<li>Committing to the personal and professional growth ofdevelopment staff members through mentorship and the strategicdeployment of personal and professional goals</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
 A successful Director of Advancementwill have:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, withdemonstrated job advancement</li>
<li>A deep understanding of and connections to the arts and culturephilanthropic community in New York City and nationally</li>
<li>Experience fundraising for a major capital campaign</li>
<li>A proven track record of setting, achieving, and exceedingfundraising goals</li>
<li>A strong background in cultivating, soliciting, and stewardingmajor gifts from individual, corporate, and foundationaldonors</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate to Board members,patrons, artists, and fellow Symphony Space staff members</li>
<li>An ability to represent Symphony Space positively to patrons,external stakeholders, and the public at large</li>
<li>An ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, andcommunicate plans and ideas clearly and effectively</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of fundraising tools, including CRM, MicrosoftOffice software, Zoom, email marketing platforms, and mailingstrategies</li>
<li>A commitment to and passion for the arts</li>
</ul>
SALARY/POSITION TYPE
 $175,000-$200,000 annually, commensuratewith experience and qualifications. Full-time, FLSA exempt.&nbsp;Weoffer a benefits package that includes health insurance, life andlong term disability insurance, flexible spending plan (FSA), annuity plan,and three weeks of vacation time.
