Generator Service Technician Opportunity Summary:
\n
The Generator Service Technician is responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work with other generator service technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. The salary range is determined by experience and skills.
\n
Job Duties:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Service, repair, modify, diagnose, and rebuild standby power generators and fire pump drivers.</li>
\n
<li>Perform failure analysis, emergency field service, and/or repairs for customers.</li>
\n
<li>Service a variety of other brands of power generation equipment.</li>
\n
<li>Operate, drive, and maintain company service trucks and parts inventory on truck.</li>
\n
<li>Check/ repair all supporting systems such as fuel, cooling, and electrical systems.</li>
\n
<li>Operation of load banks and recording of instrumentation.</li>
\n
<li>Keep current on product changes, specifications, and updates.</li>
\n</ul>
\n
Work Experience &amp; Qualifications:
\n
<ul>\n
<li>3+ Years' experience servicing 8.5kw - 3500kw generators</li>
\n
<li>EGSA Certification (Preferred)</li>
\n
<li>Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and diesel engines</li>
\n
<li>Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
\n</ul>
