Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Lathe Operator) who can independently set up and run CNC lathes while maintaining a high standard of safety and precision. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes to produce precision parts.</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.</li>
<li>Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and ensure quality standards are met.</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3–5 years of experience as a CNC lathe operator.</li>
<li>Ability to run CNC lathes independently with minimal supervision or training.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and CNC programming.</li>
<li>Experience with CAM software (SURFCAM and GibbsCAM preferred).</li>
<li>Familiarity with Haas controls is a plus.</li>
</ul>
 
Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Flexible full-time schedule — 8-hour shifts can be worked anytime between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM.</li>
<li>Consistent weekday hours with flexibility to fit your preferred start and end times.</li>
</ul>
