Job Overview 
Bell &amp; Evans is seeking a motivated Automation &amp; Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will support the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems across our production facilities. As you gain experience, you’ll take on more advanced responsibilities—including PLC troubleshooting, control systems work, and automation support. 
What You’ll Do

<li>Perform all work safely and follow all Bell &amp; Evans safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic components of production equipment.</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, read schematics, and follow detailed instructions.</li>
<li>Connect to PLCs, read ladder logic, and perform basic PLC/HMI programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff preferred).</li>
<li>Set up and troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems, and temperature control systems (including basic PID tuning).</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on automated and mechanical equipment.</li>
<li>Complete work orders, documentation, and basic computer-based reporting.</li>
<li>Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.</li>
<li>Repair and maintain sensors, motors, relays, safety circuits, and other panel components.</li>
<li>Work independently and collaboratively in a strong team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Communicate clearly with maintenance, automation technicians, and management regarding equipment issues.</li>
<li>Maintain and bring necessary personal tools as required for the position.</li>

What We’re Looking For 
Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, VFDs, relays, sensors, and control circuits.</li>
<li>Ability to read electrical schematics and perform basic PLC/HMI tasks.</li>
<li>Familiarity with automated machinery—mechanical and electrical repairs.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and diagnose issues quickly and safely.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</li>
<li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:

Assembler (1st Shift)

WHAT YOULL DO
We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies gravity! As our Mechanical Assembler, youll be the one who creates these gravity-defying products. Youll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by:
 
<ul>
<li>Following standard operating procedures and staying within job safety parameters</li>
<li>Preparing and assembling Seakeeper sphere sub-assemblies, utilizing build stands, overhead hoists, and various hand and power tools</li>
<li>Assembling and testing parts/components efficiently within the allowed time standard by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies</li>
<li>Maintaining quality standards and making adjustments when necessary to produce products within specifications</li>
<li>Verifying components by measuring and visually inspecting completed components; reject and immediately report products outside test and quality specifications</li>
<li>Tracking daily production and job time utilizing electronic scanners where applicable</li>
<li>Communicating clearly with shift supervisors, as well as assemblers on other shifts</li>
<li>Checking and maintaining material and tool inventory</li>
<li>Anticipating needed supplies and notifying the supervisor for placing and expediting material supply orders</li>
<li>Completing standard production and quality forms as needed</li>
</ul>
 
WHEN YOULL WORK
 
2ND SHIFT:
Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. 
You will train on first shift for the first 3 - 4 weeks

MUST-HAVES

<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and speak English</li>
<li>1+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times</li>
<li>Possess quality focus, sound judgment, and decision-making</li>
<li>Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

<li>Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally</li>
<li>Stand or walk for extended periods (812-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces</li>
<li>Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping</li>
<li>Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision</li>
<li>Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements</li>
<li>Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment</li>
<li>Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear</li>

Our Assembly team is nestled within our Production department. The production team currently is running three shifts to churn out as many Seakeepers as we can to change our customers boating experience forever!

Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of equipment and facilities. The planner develops and implements maintenance plans, manages work orders, and parts to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The planner works closely with other departments to support continuous improvement and safety initiatives along with production downtime, and preventive and predictive maintenance controls.
*This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures. The planner reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance issues or complete special projects.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to –
· Develop and update preventive maintenance plans, schedules, and repairs to minimize disruptions to operations due to equipment failure
· Create and manage work orders for maintenance tasks (properly defined) and ensure work is completed on time
· Allocate the necessary resources for maintenance tasks, including man, materials, tools, and equipment
· Verification and validation of work orders and repairs performed
· Daily tracking of production schedule to identify opportunities for executing maintenance activities
· Utilizing CMMS (e-work orders) to track maintenance activities, manage assets, and generate regular reports and present it to the team
· Order the parts &amp; maintain safe inventory levels to carry out the repairs and tasks without delay
· Perform goods receipt and other related tasks in SAP to facilitate timely payments to vendors
· Responsible for keeping the parts area clean and well-maintained
· Plan the maintenance tasks in advance for shutdown and complete them during shutdown
· Implementing proactive maintenance measures to prevent potential disruptions
· Routine inspection of equipment, utilities and facility to identify potential issues and schedule repairs as needed
· Work with maintenance technicians, supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service reports, contracts and compliance reports
· Analyze equipment history and other data to identify trends and patterns to inform maintenance planning decisions
· Investigating maintenance-related problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent issues
· Communicate with the team for any special assignments.
· Responsible for the quality and safety of products produced, including machinery used by Sunny Sky Products.
· Entering Goods Receipts into SAP system for Maintenance Purchases.
