Job Description
Support the Plant Quality Manager in managing, maintaining, and implementing Quality and Food Safety policies, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure compliance with SQF standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Act as an Internal Auditor during monthly SQF Program Audits and weekly Housekeeping Inspections.</li>
<li>Compile non-conformances from audits and inspections to incorporate into the CAPA program.</li>
<li>Manage the facility Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) program by assigning CAPA owners, conducting root cause analysis, tracking completion status, assessing corrective action effectiveness, maintaining documentation, and escalating issues to the Corporate Quality team as necessary.</li>
<li>Serve as a site backup SQF practitioner and maintain the knowledge base for local and corporate policies, procedures, and records to demonstrate compliance during SQF audits.</li>
<li>Oversee the site Environmental Monitoring Program by ensuring all samples are taken according to schedule, ensuring corrective actions and repeat swabs are conducted when action levels are exceeded, tracking and trending results, and reviewing the program's effectiveness during Quality Management Reviews and KPI tracking.</li>

Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>Expertise in food safety and quality control.</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, or Chemistry.</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in the food or beverage industry in QA/Food Safety/SQF Practitioner roles.</li>
<li>PCQI Certification.</li>
<li>Knowledge of FDA &amp; GFSI (SQF, BRC, or FSSC) food safety and quality standards.</li>
<li>Experience working in an environment certified to a GFSI benchmarked standard.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>ERP experience.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain or currently possess an SQF practitioner certification.</li>

The qualified candidate shall be available full-time with specific skill sets related to survey data collection. Possessing a functional knowledge of all survey equipment including setup, acquisition styles, and equipment limitations with respect to project tolerances and expectations. POSITION SUMMARY
The Principal Hardware Engineer defines product requirements, translates requirements to implementable architecture, performs detailed design work, and ensures the end product is optimized for manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities
This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead electrical design projects and contribute to electrical design best practices</li>
<li>Instruct, mentor, direct, and check the work of other design engineers</li>
<li>Translate product requirements into implementable architectures</li>
<li>Perform detailed electronic design of microprocessor-based platforms and related analog/digital circuits. This will include drawing of circuits themselves after basic analysis and paper design activity using a schematic CAD tool (Cadence OrCAD or Altium) along with simulation as appropriate using tools such as SPICE or HyperLynx.</li>
<li>Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, customer focused, and reliable</li>
<li>Gather technical data and prepare technical documents such as design verification test reports, written rework instructions, PCB placement and routing guidelines and Analysis of Alternatives documents</li>
<li>Maintain organized history of design artifacts utilizing a version control system</li>
<li>Complete assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines</li>
<li>Communicate with other engineers and may serve as a project manager to coordinate and assure project completion</li>
<li>Mentor other engineers as they work through day-to-day technical challenges</li>
<li>Assist or lead in preparing proposal documentation and integrate into customer specifications</li>
<li>Assist in preparing compliance reports for REACH, RoHS, PFAS etc.</li>
<li>Monitor for component obsolescence using Silicon Expert reports and finding suitable alternates</li>
<li>Assist in developing ECOs and route them for needed approvals.</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>15+ years of experience in product design</li>
<li>Experience with embedded systems and microprocessor-based design</li>
<li>Experience with functional aspects of product design including understanding of requirements, general electrical design analysis and documentation creation, design for manufacturing/design for test, and design verification</li>
<li>Experience with leading teams including engineers from multiple engineering disciplines</li>
<li>Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers</li>
<li>Protocol-level knowledge of serial interfaces including SPI, I2C and UART</li>
<li>Experience with analog design concepts and design tools such as SPICE and HyperLynx preferred</li>
<li>Experience with RF communications such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11), and cellular</li>
<li>Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, SATA, etc. preferred</li>
<li>Experience in medical device design or other regulated industries preferred</li>
<li>Experience with MS Office products including MS Project</li>
<li>Ability to work with both internal and external (customer) resources</li>
<li>Ability to analyze customer requirements for feasibility, cost and development timeline</li>
