Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities

<li>Orders, prepares, and inspects titanium hot form dies and tools for titanium parts production.</li>
<li>Receives, cleans, inspects, treats titanium parts for hot form/SPF procedures up to of 1750 deg F.</li>
<li>Sets up, calibrates and operates a variety of machines such as Hot Form/SPF Presses, ovens, Hydro presses and Brake Presses to manufacture titanium parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions.</li>
<li>Reads and interprets blueprints and sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of forming titanium products.</li>
<li>Plans. Lays out, forms, and repairs titanium parts and products.</li>
<li>Controls operation of production machines in accordance with establishes procedures and guidelines for the process of manufacturing titanium sheet metal products.</li>
<li>Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion.</li>
<li>Works in extreme temperatures and handling hot parts in and around machines.</li>
<li>Monitors and verifies part(s) quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures while still hot using a variety of check fixtures and tools.</li>
<li>Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.</li>
<li>Must be shift-flexible and able to work overtime. </li>
<li>Training may be done on Monday - Thursday shift. </li>

Plant and Environmental Safety

Notify supervisor immediately of any accident, near missor on- the -job injury when it occurs no matter how insignificant it mayseem.

Performs job tasks to reduce environmental impact andadheres to the environmental regulations and recycling procedures for wastedisposal. 
Complies with all plant rules and safety regulations. 
Performs cleanup duties at workstations and/orequipment/machinery.
Communicates safety concerns and/or equipmentproblems/abnormalities to appropriate personnel, maintaining strongcommunication with the appropriate line section operators to ensure immediateaction is taken for product out of spec. 
Inspect vehicles and other PIV equipment before use andthroughout shift, keeping all equipment clean and operational. 
TPM 
Participates in plant TPM initiatives - completingactivities associated with TPM tasks (adheres to CILT standard, 5S). Must be anactive member of an AM and or Pillar team. 
Continues to use TPM methodology to gain a betterunderstanding of the equipment. Identifies and participates proactively inlearning opportunities and develops expertise in those areas. 
Utilizes Focus Improvement (FI) tools to problem solve. 
Works to achieve zero injuries, zero defects and zerolosses. 
During PM days, uses time effectively to bring equipmentto optimal condition for zero losses. 
Maintain DMS and AM Team Area Activity Boards. 
Quality 
Perform winder, EDL, and conveyor quality checks anddocumentation at specified intervals. 
Maintain control panel adjust speed, delays, and othertimers if needed. 
Interface with plant employees to provide quality control(QC) information. 
Monitor and report unusual or suspect material issues notwithin specifications. 
Communicate with all coater end operators concerningshift production 
Communicate with all back-end operators concerningquality problems 
Understand and react to upset conditions. 
Evaluate all finished product for proper weight and/orthickness. 
Productivity 
Have a basic understanding of product process. 
Operate Winders and packaging machines on both lines. 
Operate banding equipment. 
Print and apply pallet labels 
Load and stack reworked material. 
Manage and accurately report the amount of scrap andseconds for tracking. 
Relieve crew members from duties for breaks 
Manage trash. 
Listen for alarms and responds appropriately to thevarious alarm signals. 
Assist in repair of web breaks. 
Assist in all threading, product change procedures. 
Perform PM to AM task transfers on down days.
