Position Description
The Manager Quality oversees the sites quality department with responsibility for total product/package quality, Food Safety/Quality cost management, safety, compliance, GMPs, and executing all Quality protocols to ensure Plant Quality objectives are met.

General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join our Team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be able to efficiently and accurately weld steel assemblies from plan specifications and quality control hold points. They will be able to perform fitting tasks, process complex parts for assembly and finish welding operations, while supporting a team. A successful candidate must be able to understand written and verbal instructions while following dimensional and welding drawings and produce quality welds within a given process.&nbsp;
 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Welding competency in all positions&nbsp;</li>
<li>Able to set weld machines to optimum parameters for work in accordance with WPS</li>
<li>Understands weld symbols and prepares joints in accordance with code</li>
<li>Competent in metal fabrication to exact specifications and drawings</li>
<li>Operate machinery and tools such as grinders, saws, torches, and drills to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to design specifications</li>
<li>Fit, align, and adjust parts to ensure proper functionality and attention to the design&nbsp;</li>
<li>Performs fitting work as instructed</li>
<li>Utilizes jigs and fixtures where appropriate</li>
<li>Places welds of proper size, spacing and sequence per work instruction</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand shop plans, blueprints and work orders&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion</li>
<li>Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times</li>

The work environment characteristics here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
 
Compensation
$42.00 - $45.00 depending on experience and qualifications.&nbsp;
There is a shift differential for all hours worked on the swing shift.

The objective of this position is to provide technical support to manufacturing and process development of precision aerospace bearings. Principle responsibilities are to solve technical problems supporting production, and manage technical projects to completion. This may include machine rebuilds, corrective actions, new product launches, lean activities, tooling design, etc. 
Responsibilities
