The Quality Engineer oversees all quality-related activities undertaken to support manufactured products and the products and accessories we procure from third-party vendors. Responsible for the continuous improvement of the organization’s product quality and procedure adherence to ensure quality consistency. Reviews quality standards, tolerances, and engineering changes. Evaluates engineering changes for existing products, outsourced parts, processes and subassemblies, and new products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Observes and interprets reading on gauges and meters which register various aspects of boiler operations and the Central Energy Plant (CEP) Operations.</li>
<li>Adjusting controls to ensure safe and efficient operations of the plant that meets the demands for the utilities provided.</li>
<li>Logs the various aspects of the system’s operation, keeping the boilers, chillers, machinery and other system equipment in good working order.</li>
<li>Maintains the log, in which various aspects of plant operations are recorded.</li>
<li>Required to be skilled in the repair of rotating machinery, steam systems, compressed gases and water treatment systems, (i.e., clean, oil, repair or assist in repairs to plant equipment).</li>
<li>Must be fully knowledgeable of the required actions in the event of the loss of any of the regularly supplied utilities services.</li>
<li>Treatment of cooling tower and boiler water with chemicals and analyze the water for such things as acidity, conductivity, hardness, biological growth and alkalinity.</li>

The Multi-Axis CNC Machinist Lead serves as the key point of contact for all machinists and shop-floor-related departments during their assigned shift. This role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, mentoring machinists and operators, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and supporting seamless communication between departments such as Engineering, Programming, Quality, and Production Management.
This position may oversee multiple machining disciplines depending on their division and shift — including but not limited to CNC milling, turning, Swiss, manual machining, EDM, grinding, honing, deburr, and assembly. What you’ll be doing as a CNC Multi-Axis Machinist Lead (Weekend Shift):

<li>Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, Washington location.</li>
<li>This position is from 5am – 530pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for machinists and supporting departments during assigned shift.</li>
<li>Lead and mentor machinists and operators to achieve daily production goals and maintain quality and efficiency standards.</li>
<li>Oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling and turning equipment; may include Swiss, EDM, manual, or secondary operations depending on division.</li>
<li>Coordinate with engineering and programming teams to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of part prints and setup instructions.</li>
<li>Verify that all machined parts meet print specifications and tolerance requirements using appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods.</li>

<li>Maintain accurate shop inventory, including tooling, inserts, and materials, and ensure shared resources are properly cared for.</li>

Qualifications
 
Education
 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related field.</li>
<li>Associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered.</li>
</ul>
 
Experience
 
<ul>
<li>7–10 years in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.</li>
<li>5+ years in a quality-focused role preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical systems a plus.</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred Certifications &amp; Skills
 
<ul>
<li>ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T, CMM reporting, and inspection methods.</li>
<li>Proficient in quality tools, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.</li>
<li>Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly operations.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to train others.</li>
<li>Strong project management and continuous improvement mindset.</li>

Resumen:
Reportándose al(la) Director(a) Ejecutivo, el(la) Oficial de Retención tiene la responsabilidad de contactar con rapidez aquellos estudiantes que puedan ser candidatos a deserción escolar para aplicar aquellos procesos que eviten la pérdida de éstos.
Tareas y responsabilidades esenciales:
<ul>
<li>Mantiene contacto diario y directo con los profesores para identificar estudiantes con problemas de ausencias, estudiantes perdidos o estudiantes con cualquier otra situación que les impida continuar con sus estudios.</li>
<li>Mantiene un récord con estadísticas de los casos reportados para el debido seguimiento.</li>
<li>Mantiene contacto diario con el Departamento de Orientación y de Registro para evaluar el progreso académico de los estudiantes y de esta forma anticipar situaciones con el fin de establecer soluciones o estrategias.</li>
<li>Promueve actividades dirigidas a la retención (co-curricular y extracurricular).</li>
<li>Monitorea diariamente el sistema de “Campus Vue” para establecer comparación con los referidos de la facultad.</li>
<li>Somete lista de profesores que no cumplen con la política de reporte diario al Coordinador(a) del Programa, Director(a) Académico y Director(a) de Recinto.</li>
</ul>
Educación/Experiencia:
<ul>
<li>Bachillerato en Conducta Humana, Psicología o Trabajo Social.</li>
<li>Mínimo un año (1) de experiencia en el área de especialidad.</li>
</ul>
