Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.
We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethical standards for the following position:
- Engineering Technical Lead - Electrical Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and electrical construction practices.
- Experience performing field walkdowns and generating punch list items.
Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Team in conducting active electrical pre-energization walkdowns.
- Verify installation completeness and readiness of electrical systems and equipment prior to energization.
- Review equipment installation against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in field inspections of electrical equipment and associated circuits, including but not limited to:
- Switchgear
- Transformers
- Panelboards
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Motors
- Power distribution systems
- Lighting and control systems
- Identify deficiencies, installation issues, and quality concerns.
- Create, document, track, and follow up on punch list items and field observations.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, quality, and engineering teams to resolve identified issues.
- Support electrical turnover and readiness activities leading to equipment energization.
- Provide written status updates and reports as required.
