Responsibilities:

Job Summary
The position performs all maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance functions for all CNC &amp; Manual Mills &amp; Lathes, machines, building, equipment and grounds. Work includes routine inspections and repair or replacement of machines, equipment and the building’s operating system.
Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities

<li>Schedule outside repair technicians, as needed, for complex repairs.</li>
<li>Plans, schedules and implements preventative maintenance.</li>
<li>Building and Grounds Maintenance.</li>
<li>Assesses production schedules, to minimize downtime, for all repairs.</li>
<li>Troubleshoots, diagnoses and addresses maintenance issues and requests to ensure optimal equipment performance and when necessary,</li>
<li>Work with outside contractors to procure parts and services.</li>
<li>Provide guidance to contractors and others regarding work required to be performed.</li>
<li>Work with outside contractors/vendors with getting bids for new machines and/or improvements needed for maintenance/building and continue working with them until project has been completed.</li>
<li>Ensure complete documentation of annual inspections/certifications, regulatory requirements, service to all equipment and repairs (i.e., annual crane inspections, certifications of welders, sprinklers, alarms, EPA, etc.).</li>
<li>Make regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement (i.e., member of the safety committee, annual review of Lock-Out Tag-Out Procedures, etc.)</li>
<li>Submit requisitions to Purchasing for parts, oils, lubricants, materials, cleaning supplies, etc.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

The CNC Set-Up Machinist III independently sets-up computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
