🔨 What You’ll Do
- Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, torque tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
- Read blueprints to complete accurate mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare panels for painting by installing insulation and hanging parts on racks.
- Package finished assemblies to meet customer specifications.
- Cross-train across departments to support production needs.
- Troubleshoot basic fit and function issues using mechanical aptitude.
- Follow all safety procedures while working with tools and metal components.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
🛠️ What You Bring
- At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately use a tape measure.
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude—auto shop or auto body experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a hands-on metal manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and willingness to cross-train.

🏭 Work Environment
You’ll work in a metal manufacturing setting similar to an auto body shop—hands-on, fast-paced, and tool-driven. The facility is non-union, and you’ll spend most of your time on the production floor assembling components, preparing panels, and supporting multiple departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
