Job DescriptionWire / Mechanical Assembly Specialist

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Four-day workweek!)

Pay: $19.00 per hour

We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wire / Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our manufacturing team. If you have experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or electro-mechanical assembly and enjoy working in a quality-focused, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble wire harnesses, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies.

  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of wires, crimps, connectors, and associated hardware.

  • Operate automated and semi-automated production equipment.

  • Use appropriate hand tools for assembly tasks.

  • Perform hand soldering and rework of wire components.

  • Assemble products to documented quality and production standards.

  • Complete product rework according to engineering change orders (ECOs) and manufacturing deviation documents.

  • Identify and communicate material shortages or production needs.

  • Support company quality assurance and safety policies.

  • Assist in other production areas as needed to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of mechanical assembly, wiring, or related manufacturing experience (or equivalent experience).

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of IPC standards is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high quality standards.
