Job DescriptionJob Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $94.00 - $96.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite System One is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer on a 12 month contract located in Minneapolis, MN. Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Engineering for natural gas/thermal generation projects
- Power plant design
- Construction support
- Engineering oversight
- Weekly travel to plant sites may be required
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- 8-10 years experience
- Power plant design/construction, owner/operator, or EPC firm
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineer
- PE preferred
- Power generation experience preferred (combustion turbine plants)
- Familiarity with construction environments
