Medical Assembler

Location: Plymouth, MN (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Payrate: $17.25/Hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assembler to join a leading medical device manufacturing team in Plymouth, MN. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy detailed, hands-on work and have excellent hand-eye coordination. You will assemble life-saving heart devices in a cleanroom environment using microscopes, specialized tools, and precision sewing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble heart devices following detailed manufacturing procedures and work instructions
  • Perform precision sewing using suture and needle under a microscope
  • Use microscopes, small hand tools, measuring equipment, and test fixtures to complete assemblies
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Follow cleanroom procedures and maintain a sterile manufacturing environment
  • Accurately document production activities and maintain required records
  • Support quality, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 0–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform repetitive, precision work for extended periods
  • Comfortable working under a microscope for long durations
  • Experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus
  • Sewing experience using a needle and fine materials is highly preferred
  • Ability to use small hand tools and measuring instruments

  • Requires strict adherence to gowning and contamination control procedures
  • Frequent use of microscopes and precision tools
  • Repetitive fine motor tasks requiring steady hands and strong focus
