Summary Position applies technical knowledge to provide maintenance and mission support of the Utah Tactical Data Link System (UTDLS), Air Combat Training System (ACTS) and similar Airborne Instrumentation System (AIS). Supports UTDLS/ACTS live monitor operations to include debriefing of recorded missions. Assists in performing organizational preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.</li>
<li>Assist with: packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading of deliveries.</li>
<li>Operating hot-water pressure washer to clean equipment, as required.</li>
<li>Assist in facility projects including: moving items, packing boxes, cleaning, trash removal, etc.</li>
<li>Assist other shop team members with equipment installation, service, cleaning. </li>
<li>Perform QA/QC checks prior to “Green-Tag” and properly record test results.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Installation, and verification, of required S3S decals prior to equipment shipping.</li>
<li>Responsible for requesting tools, supplies, and fixtures needed for their work duties.</li>
<li>May be required to work in other locations from time to time. </li>
</ul>
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

<li>Ability to utilize measuring devices: tape measure, caliper, thread gauge, etc.</li>
<li>Ability to identify the thread size and specification of an unknown fastener.</li>
<li>Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Ability to operate equipment including Front end loaders, Forklifts, and overhead cranes.</li>
<li>Must be able to read and write in English fluently (Spanish is a plus).</li>
