Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Kentucky Special Education teaching certification with MSD (Moderate/Severe Disabilities) credentials
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary students in moderate to severe disability settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Passion for fostering inclusive, adaptive classroom environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s needs
- Manage a caseload of seven elementary-aged students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
- Work collaboratively with related service providers and support staff
