Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in a contract position running from August 4, 2026, to May 17, 2027. You’ll be vital in guiding a small caseload of seven students, using your skillset to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid Kentucky Special Education teaching certification with MSD (Moderate/Severe Disabilities) credentials
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary students in moderate to severe disability settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Passion for fostering inclusive, adaptive classroom environments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s needs
  • Manage a caseload of seven elementary-aged students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
  • Work collaboratively with related service providers and support staff
  • Advocate for inclusive educational practices and support positive student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate student documentation and progress reports
