Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Elevate your imaging career by delivering advanced diagnostic services as an experienced Nuclear Medicine and PET Technologist. This contract position provides an opportunity to work with innovative equipment and collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate PET and nuclear medicine imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety standards and clinical guidelines
  • Perform patient assessments, obtain relevant medical history, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure
  • Accurately process and analyze images for interpretation by physicians
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including radiation protection requirements and infection control procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other imaging professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment and coordinate with service personnel when needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or PET Technology program
  • Current certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
  • Previous experience performing both PET and nuclear medicine exams in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency with imaging software and hospital information systems
  • Commitment to excellent patient care, safety, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving protocols
