As a CNC Machinist in our Optical Fabrication department, you will setup and run CNC equipment to produce high precision optical components
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions in accordance with established procedures, lean processes and standard work.</li>
<li>Set up and operate CNC diamond turning, CNC grinding or CNC polishing machines in support of the production schedule.</li>
<li>Collect, analyze, and report data for production processes requiring basic math and statistical knowledge.</li>
<li>Manually clean optical surfaces using wipes and solvents</li>
<li>Use metrology equipment to verify conformance of optical components to high precision specifications.</li>
<li>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Must be a US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (Citizen, Permanent Resident).</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Possesses basic computer skills for entering data, reviewing process documentation, and operating computer-controlled equipment</li>
<li>Ability to setup and run CNC manufacturing equipment</li>
<li>Ability to perform measurements on high precision components</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant CNC machining production experience (examples include CNC Generating, CNC Grinding, CNC Polishing, and CNC Diamond Turning)</li>
<li>May require occasional heavy lifting (&gt; 30 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.</li>
<li>Involves exposure to chemicals and solvents.</li>
<li>Safety Glasses &amp; Latex Gloves are required.</li>
<li>Must read, speak and understand English written instruction and documentation</li>
</ul>

<h4>Pay Range</h4>
The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $36,000.00 - $66,800.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.

About the Opportunity:∙ Job Title: CNC Router Operator∙ Pay: $18/Hour∙ Location: Rogers, MN∙ Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM.&nbsp;Daily functions:

<li>Communicate with the plant manager throughout the day regarding what needs to be routed.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Route all jobs as assigned.</li>
<li>Monitor all aspects of machine operation.</li>
<li>Setup router based on material and part requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to changing workplace situations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Check part dimensions against prints for accuracy.</li>
</ol>
Desired qualifications:
<ol>
<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Previous CNC Machine experience a plus.</li>
<li>Previous architectural metal background a plus.</li>
<li>Good organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to read tape measure.&nbsp;</li>
</ol>
Physical requirements:

<li>Lifting 50lbs up to 75 lbs. team lift.</li>
<li>Standing for long durations of time.</li>
<li>Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.</li>
