We are seeking a 5+ years experienced Corporate Counsel to join the team and support sophisticated commercial real estate leasing, transactional matters, contracts, compliance, and litigation management across multiple business divisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases for office, retail, industrial, shopping center, and flex properties.
• Negotiate lease amendments, guaranties, estoppel certificates, work letters, and related leasing documents.
• Review title commitments, surveys, easements, zoning regulations, and municipal codes to identify legal risks.
• Draft and negotiate vendor, consulting, service, and other commercial agreements while providing practical, business focused legal advice.
• Support legal operations, contract management, playbooks, and templates while coordinating with outside counsel on litigation and dispute resolution.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the applicable state bar.
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice, including at least 5 years of commercial real estate leasing experience.
• Experience negotiating vendor and service agreements and developing contract playbooks and legal templates.
• Strong written communication, negotiation, relationship building, and business judgment skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• In house experience with a commercial real estate owner, developer, or property management company.
• Experience with Ironclad or another Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.
• Familiarity with Practical Law, CoCounsel, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
• Knowledge of ADA accessibility compliance.
• Experience managing litigation and coordinating with outside counsel.
