Full-Time or PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Fabulous team and building!! This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment while helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Support patients in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).

  • Apply treatment techniques and adaptive strategies to maximize patient safety and independence.

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive equipment and techniques.

  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress toward treatment goals.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • Current Pennsylvania COTA license (or eligibility required).

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor.
