Help a high-performing manufacturing team stay safe, efficient, and on schedule by keeping equipment reliable and ready.
What You’ll Deliver
- Preventive maintenance that reduces unplanned downtime.
- Rapid response to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
- Accurate records: work orders, PM logs, and equipment history.
- Effective troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Seamless support for installs, modifications, testing, and startups.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality to lift performance.
- Actionable ideas for continuous improvement and process enhancements.
- Hands-on help for shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.
- A clean, well-organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Strict adherence to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
- 2+ years in maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, food production, or similar environments.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic skills.
- Working knowledge of: mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic instruments.
- Team player who can also work independently; organized problem-solver.
- Open to overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.
Preferred Extras
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training (Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related).
- Exposure to PLCs, automation, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.
- Trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).
- Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of GMPs.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces when needed.
- Wear required PPE.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving machinery, industrial equipment, temperature variations, noise, and industrial chemicals.
- Safety first: follow company safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
