Chamberlain is seeking a skilled Senior Technical Product Manager with previous experience in a manufacturing environment to actively drive growth for the company by providing expert technical guidance on our manufacturing capabilities while fostering strong, long-term customer relationships. Day-to-day activities include gathering and prioritizing product requirements, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, and translating technical needs into clear product specifications.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Walpole, NH.

Position Responsibilities
\n

- Focus on value creation and identifying profitable new business opportunities
- Translate customer needs into actionable technical specifications; prepare and customize technical proposals, quotes, and sales contracts to meet those needs
- Perform contract review for incoming orders and collaborate with production management to determine delivery schedules; negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs
- Oversight and involvement in the cost estimation process to ensure cost accuracy and appropriate pricing
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to guide process development, overcome technical obstacles, and ensure quality issues are resolved
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term engagement
- Contribute to designing manufacturing processes and workflows to enhance operational performance, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from improvements
- Utilize knowledge of manufacturing, metrology, metallurgy, and assembly & test processes to advise on product manufacturability and create solutions to issues that arise throughout the process
- Utilize CAD/CAM software to evaluate part models and machining strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor products to effectively position the company’s offerings
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Desired Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field; advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment performing functions ranging from product management, technical sales, operations, finance, and engineering; preferably in a precision machine shop with CNC machining operations
- Knowledge of materials, material science, manufacturing processes and equipment
- Solid product strategy experience, including defining roadmaps, market positioning, and long-term product vision
- Experience utilizing an ERP system working with routings, BOMs, work instructions, and financial data & reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions
- Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- Experience achieving tangible business results by identifying and utilizing data driven systems, problem solving, and analytical tools
- Strong software skills, specifically with MS Office, ERP systems, and CAD/CAM software
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Experience working in an ISO9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environment preferred

Compensation and Hours of Work
\n

- The target salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 USD per year
- This is a full-time exempt salaried position with a minimum workweek of 45 hours
