Position Summary: Manager of Accounting/Finance
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Work Schedule: 3 days/week on-site

Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently looking for an Accounting and Finance Manager to join our team in Nashua, NH.
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead global compliance efforts, manage critical financial processes, and drive continuous improvements in accounting efficiency and accuracy. This is a key role in reviewing reconciliations, ensuring compliance, and preparing for audits, all while collaborating with a talented team. Additionally, you'll have the chance to support various accounting operations and make a significant impact on the company's financial health.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, recruit, and develop the shared services accounting team to deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Oversee AR, AP, and Capital, driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
- Lead SOX 404 compliance, including control documentation, testing, remediation, and coordination with process owners
- Coordinate the semi-annual hard close process by gathering supporting documentation and completing control questionnaires.
- Manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
- Oversee bookings, backlog reporting, and reconciliations.
- Review account reconciliations, customer credit assessments, cash collections, AP aging, and bad debt analyses.
- Partner with ERP administrators and business process teams to resolve financial systems and process issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and software license and contract renewals.
- Collaborate with global finance and business teams across multiple business units.
- Lead the collection of supporting documentation for quarterly and annual corporate tax reporting.
- Provide cross-functional finance support and serve as backup for key accounting functions as needed.
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and internal/external audit processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus.
- Experience managing and supervising an accounting team.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to take initiative, respond with urgency, drive issues to resolution, and hold team members accountable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
