The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. As the subject specialist for legal pedagogy and technology competency, this position works to improve student success by embedding the library in online teaching and learning spaces, integrating librarians into the face-to-face curriculum, and supporting faculty adoption of technologies to achieve learning outcomes.
The Law Library supports the curricular and teaching requirements of the Law School, the research and publication needs of the law faculty, and the study and research needs of the law students; and provides to the scholarly community at large access to a research collection of material about the law and its history. Oversees, coordinates, and/or performs activities of the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services, which includes coordination of workflow, training and evaluation of staff, and oversight of personnel issues.
Instructional Services

<li>Serves as subject matter expert for law pedagogy, legal technology, and related topics; creates an overall strategic vision to improve the student experience through the integration of technology into the curriculum, integrates Law Library services and instructional programs into Law School initiatives with a focus on legal practice technologies</li>
<li>Oversees the integration of library resources and academic technologies including technology competencies into the curriculum and learning spaces;&nbsp;participates in identifying, implementing, and supporting technology-driven solutions and strategies to enhance the Law School’s teaching and learning experience; stays abreast of technology-focused learning trends and best practices in law schools including technology-related pedagogy as well as technologies used in law practice; develops library-focused reusable learning objects and modules for course site development; partners with Law School faculty and programs on the adoption of tools and techniques to improve teaching and learning; supports faculty with the adoption and integration of instructional technologies to achieve pedagogical outcomes</li>

Head of Legal Technology & Instructional Services

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks to hire a tenure-track professor of French and Francophone literatures and cultures specializing in any of the periods prior to the nineteenth century, from the Middle Ages to the aftermath of the French Revolution. We are looking for a scholar who envisions their research within a capacious conception of the spaces, texts, and times involved in pre-1800 French and Francophone studies. We are especially interested in approaches that place literature and cultural expressions in conversation with interdisciplinary fields such as gender and sexuality studies, decolonial studies, and the environmental humanities. Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is crucial, as is the ability to capture the interest of a diverse student body.&nbsp;
The Department will consider candidates with a PhD from disciplines other than French Studies, but fluency in French is required. Doctorate required by the time the appointment begins on July 1, 2024. PRIMARY PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY:
The Brennan School of Business’s 2022-2028 strategic plan envisions to equip Brennan graduates with the skills necessary to address significant business challenges and gain recognition for their leadership abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and global perspective. As part of this vision, a tenure-track faculty position specializing in entrepreneurship will enhance the entrepreneurial curriculum, teach the standard seven course load, provide guidance via advising students, and engage in scholarly activities. Given the pivotal role entrepreneurship plays within the strategic plan, a new entrepreneurship faculty member will collaborate closely with the Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chair, and fellow colleagues at the Brennan School of Business on various initiatives, including the following:

<li>Develop curriculum innovation within the entrepreneurship major and minor to support DEIB/sustainability initiatives and experiential learning</li>
<li>Support entrepreneurship through participation in external events (competitions, conferences) as well as internal events.</li>
<li>Support the creation of an Entrepreneurship Center (and its website) that emphasize sustainability and underserved entrepreneurs</li>
<li>Support the development of strategic partnerships that advance the entrepreneurial mindset.</li>
<li>Organize the freshmen Brennan Business Idea Competition (MGMT 197) and sophomore Brennan Business Challenge Competition (ENTR 297) with departmental colleagues</li>
<li>Support the Entrepreneurs LaunchPad Fund Competition (juniors, seniors, recent alumni) with the Department Chair, Entrepreneurship/Management Executive in Residents.</li>

JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal duties and responsibilities would include the following:

<li>Teach 21 credit hours within entrepreneurship/management, which corresponds to seven courses during an academic year.</li>
<li>Advise undergraduate students and transfer students.</li>
<li>Produce intellectual contributions as outlined in the BSB Roles and Responsibility Document in order to maintain scholarly academic “SA” status for AACSB Accreditation.</li>
<li>Participate in AACSB Assurance of Learning (AOL) activities and deliver timely reports to the Dean, Associate Dean, and Department Chair</li>
<li>Organize entrepreneurial competitions with departmental colleagues (Business Idea Competition, Business Challenge Competition, Entrepreneurs LaunchPad Fund).</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
PhD in Entrepreneurship/Management from an AACSB accredited institution is required. Teaching experience is required. Highly qualified ABD candidates will also be considered. A candidate must be committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment.

Digital Content Specialist

The Management and Organization (MOR) Department at the USC-Marshall School of Business seeks to hire new tenure-track faculty members in Strategy to begin in Fall 2024. We seek candidates who are or have the potential to become, leading scholars on topics relevant to strategy and organizations, including but not limited to innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, alliances, innovation, and/or corporate strategy.&nbsp; We are also looking for displayed capability in teaching.
The MOR department is interdisciplinary; our 23 tenured/tenure-track faculty members span organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategy and have a variety of backgrounds, including psychology, sociology, economics, and general management/strategy. In the strategy area, research interests are broad, and faculty complement publishing in management and strategy journals with publications in discipline journals. Professor of Management and Organization (Open Rank) - Strategy

The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Montevallo invites applications for a tenure-track position in history at the level of assistant professor, beginning Fall 2024. The successful candidate must have evidence of potential for scholarship and excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with specialization in United States and African American History; experience in Women’s History is desirable as well. Minority applicants are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses within their specialization to include World Civilizations, U.S. History Survey, and upper-level electives.
